President Jacob Zuma faces a difficult choice today.
He will have to decide whether to repudiate Julius Malema for his comments about the SACP, or support Malema in his criticism of the SACP.
Zuma will present the keynote address to the SACP's special congress in Polokwane.
Media reports that ANC hardliners, especially Malema, want Zuma to call the communists to order - while the SACP wants the President to rein in the temperamental Youth League leader.
