Eight people travelling on the N3 highway to Johannesburg were arrested at the N3 tollgate last night for fraud.
It is believed the suspects are the part of a credit card fraud syndicate, involving credit card fraud amounting to R100 000.
Police spokesperson Superintendent Vincent Mdunge says the eight in their mid-forties, were apparently driving to Johannesburg.
Mdunge says in the suspect’s car shoes, clothing and household goods were found.
The alleged syndicate was under investigation for a while.
The suspects will appear in the Durban magistrate’s Court on Monday.
