Ruling party urge matters to rest on Zuma’s private life

The African National Congress has urged ordinary South Africans, political commentators and opposition parties to put scrutiny on President Zuma’s personal life to rest.

The party says the painful experience of Zuma, his family and children coming under intense pressure from ordinary South Africans, political commentators and opposition parties has taught it valuable lessons.

This follows revelations in the past week, that Zuma fathered a four month old baby to soccer boss Irvan Khoza’s daughter, divorcee Sonono out of wedlock.

The baby girl Thandekile Matina Zuma, was born last year three months before Zuma married for the fifth time to Thobeka Madiba, making him a proud dad of twenty.

The party has appealed to all South Africans to now respect both families’ need to be afforded space to privately reflect on the matter.
