Oxfam says SA needs economic development

Oxfam an international relief organisation today said that South Africa needs to find a way to economic development that reduced the environmental cost of industry.

Oxfam today released a new paper that examined how countries can try and solve two of the world's great problems simultaneously.

The problems are poverty alleviation and environmental conservation.

Oxfam’s Kate Raworth said that this was a time for the people to move away from the traditional path of economic development and work towards a more inclusive stable form of growth
