A Cape Town police dog unit is looking for a two-year-old boy who went missing after a shack fire in Valhalla Park
The fire destroyed a dozen shacks and left more than 40 people at the 8th Avenue informal settlement homeless.
Wilfred-Solomons-Johannes of the Cape Town Disaster Risk Management says they have provided shelter for the affected families.
He continued to say that they will be providing assistance to the affected community during the next three days.
