SA’s renewable energy efforts reach a milestone

South Africa’s renewable energy efforts have reached another highlight.
This comes with the launch of the country’s first Verified Numerical Wind Atlas in Cape Town today.
The initiative is led by the Department of Energy and co-funded by the Royal Danish Embassy.
The project will allow wind farm developers to obtain free wind measurement data.
