Johannesburg taxi accident claims six lives
At least six people died in a horror taxi accident near the Johannesburg International Airport on Saturday morning. The minibus apparently slammed into the back of the truck on the R-24 towards the airport, just before the Edenvale offramp. The deceased were all passengers in the taxi. Ekurhuleni emergency services say ten people sustained serious injuries in the crash. Part of the highway had to be closed while emergency personnel worked on the scene. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
