Jacob Zuma increased his defamation claims against several media organisations on Monday. Due to Zuma apparently being insulted by a Johannesburg radio station on Monday. Zuma will only be returning from Europe on Thursday, but told his legal team to increase his defamation claim against 94.7 Highveld Stereo to R7 million. This making the total claims against media organisations a whopping R63 million. During the show on Highveld Stereo a song was played called “ My name is Zuma” which elaborates on Zuma’s rape trial. The presenters then held a mock trial on air where they found Zuma “ not guilty “. Zuma said this incident further insulted him and shows no respect for South Africa’s legal system. According to news24.com organisations have14 days in which to pay their claims or they will receive a summons to appear in court.
