The bishop Lavis police stations’ phone number has been changed, but no one knows what the number is.
A Cape Argus investigation revealed that even police have no clue to what the police stations number is including other police stations around the cape, as it was clear that the (021) 934 1031 number is not for this police station.
The report says that the governments’ website capegateway.gov.za has not been updated since December 2003. in case of emergencies you still have to call the 10111 number.
But if you are residing in Khayelitsha you are in the OK, their number is (021) 360 2300.
