Police have seized the largest amount stolen cable as two men have been arrested in possession of 500 kilograms stolen copper cable.
Another 110kg of cable was found bringing the estimated value of cable seized to R 32 000.
Police Spokesperson Malcolm Potjie says were arrested on Tuesday by police acting on information that the copper cable was to be sold at a scrapyard in Plettenberg Bay.
The men are to appear in the Knysna Magistrates Court on Thursday.
