# Polio and measles vaccinations are offered to pre-school children at the Netcare Stork Clinic’s and the Medicross and Prime Cure facilities free of charge. The vaccinations take place from Monday May 7 to May 11 against measles and polio and again from June 11 to June 15. All babies and children from birth to five years will be vaccinated. # Harmony Primary School is hosting a crazy hat karaoke on Friday May 11 from 07:30pm to 1am, at the Mary Attlee Centre on the corner Retreat Road and Prince George Drive in Retreat. Call 021 701 3322 for more information.
# The Volunteer Wildfire Service is recruiting members for its unit in preparation for the next fire season. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, live in Cape Town and be available with a part of the fire season from October to April.
