Two Mozambican nationals were found this morning lying on the Kuilsriver railway tracks.
One of the man 22-year-old had died and the other 20-year-old sustained head injuries.
Police spokesperson Siphokazi Mawisa says that the man allegedly jumped out of the train whilst it was in motion.
She says that at this stage no foul play is suspected and an inquest docket has been opened.
Initially police were investigating a case of attempted murder but this has been subsequently dropped.
