The National Lotteries Board has finally handed over a report to trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa.
A Weekend paper reveals that the report contains information on the recommendation regarding the awarding of the licence.
South Africans were unable to play the Lotto after it was suspended at the end of March this year. A court ruling found that the process that gave the lottery license to Gidani had been flawed.
The minister says he has to study the report first and seek legal advice as well as have a meeting with the board for further discussions.
He added that he remains committed in making a decision soon.
