Fidelity security robbed in Tableview

Fidelity Security Officials were approached by three armed men on Tuesday morning, while collecting money at a business in Flamingo Square in Tableview.

The men demanded cash at gunpoint and robbed the security guard who was on his way back to the van of an undisclosed amount of money.Two firearms which were in the possession of the guards were also stolen.

“The suspects then fled the scene in a VW Jetta with the cash and firearms and are still at large,” says police spokesperson, Constable Siphokazi Mawisa.

“No shots were fired and no one sustained any physical injury,” says Mawisa.
