The body of a woman who was found in a dam this past week was wrongfully identified by her family.
The family of Karlina Hendericks identified her body as the woman found in a the dam on Bonheur Farm by Rawsonville police.
'The 32-year-old's body was identified at the Worcester mortuary," says police spokesperson Billy Jones.
"The body wasn’t that of Hendericks, she was found alive by detectives on Wednesday morning on a farm in Riebeeck Kasteel," says Jones.
Jones added that the body found has not yet been identified, but detectives are following up on a strong lead in an attempt to identity the body.
However a 28-year-old man has been taken in for questioning.
