A 42-year-old father was arrested by the police in connection with the murder of his 16-year-old daughter early Monday night. It is alleged that the murder occurred at the house in Norwood, Elsies River at 17:30.
The father and his daughter were alone at home when an argument occurred between them in her bedroom. The suspect allegedly assaulted the victum in her face after which she was strangled. She died on the scene.
The was arrested at a house near his residence and is expected to appear in the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
