Good news for lottery players is that tickets will be on sale starting from the 05 October 2007 and the first draw will be on the 13 October 2007.
Gidani has been announced as the new lotto operator. Its chairperson, Bongani Khumalo, has affirmed the company’s commitment to supporting South Africa’s economy and social development.
“We are extremely excited about our appointment to the National Lottery and look forward to contributing meaningfully to the economy,” says Khumalo.
Players who bought multi-draw tickets or entered subscriptions must cancel at a nearby Uthingo office where they can receive a refund.
Khumalo added that in future Gidani is considering an introduction of new games.
