The body of a 22 year old Kuils River man has been recovered after he drowned while swimming with friends at Glen Beach near Camps Bay yesterday.
“The man was pulled from the water by municipal lifeguards stationed at the beach,” says National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) spokesperson Craig Lambinon.
Lambinon adds that Metro Rescue and Netcare 911 were on the scene.
“At 16:30 we received calls of a reported drowning and resuscitation was initiated. Unfortunately, the man died on the scene,” says Lambinon.
