Lotto rolls over to R18 million

South Africans returned in their numbers to play the Lotto on Saturday the 13th October 2007. New operator Gidani sold tickets that exeeded the R15 million jackpot.

Gidani had processed approximately 8 million ticket transactions by 9pm on Saturday evening. Since nobody went home with the jackpot it rolled over to the next draw with an estimated jackpot prize of R18 million.

Second prize was taken away by seven people with the cash prize being R108 679 each and four people won the second cash prizes of R255 625 on the Lotto plus.

Wednesday the 17th October 2007 at 21H30 marks the next lotto draw. Raise your Game the new lotto game show will follow immediately after the draw.

Hosting the show is Nimrod Nkosi and former Miss South Africa, Vanessa Carreira. The game is based on the Lotto numbers one to 49 and offers weekly grand prize of R300 000.
