Independant Democrats Leader Patricia de Lille has congratulated the state’’s judiciary for their achievement in the Jacob Zuma corruption case.
The independant Democrats said that although they respect they independance of the judiciary, they hope the courts will not be influenced by any political party conference or succession race and the courts must charge the African National Congress deputy president with urgency.
" The sooner this comes before the courts the better for Mr Zuma, because only then will he be afforded the opportunity to state his side of the story," says ID President Patricia de Lille.
"If the matter is not resolved this dark cloud will hang over his head even if he is successful in becoming the next President of South Africa," says De Lille.
