Independent Democrats Deputy President Simon Grindrod has today called on political leaders to stop criticising the SA Police Service.
“When politicians raise incidences of police corruption they must be very careful not to brand the entire police service as corrupt or useless.
The vast majority of police men and women in this country are working very hard under difficult conditions to do their jobs,” says ID Deputy President Simon Grindrod.
Grindrod added that SAPS deserves the support of all political and community leaders and that they should be supported and not criticised unnecessarily for problems that are beyond their control in many instances.
