In celebration of International day for Disabled persons, an all day event will be taking place, starting off with a handing over of an accessible house to a disabled person by Premier Ebrahim Rasool and Deputy Minister of Social Development, Dr Jean Swanson in Nyanga.
“The home is going to be delivered and given over to a 78 year old women that’s physically disabled, says Project Manager for the office of disabled person Zane Bubelyear.
The housing hand over will be followed by an event to celebrate the day at the Sahara Park Newlands Cricket Ground at 11h30.
Before the event leads to Newlands Cricket Ground a march will take place from the Newlands swimming pool to the stadium.
