The marking process in the Western Cape matric exams has been successfully completed and is on its way to being released.
MEC for Education in the Western Cape, Cameron Dugmore says teachers saw through the entire process and are now attending meetings for a moderation of the marking process in all the different provinces.
“The beginnings of a compilation of the overall national and provincial results are well on track. We are preparing for the official announcement of the Western Cape matric results on Friday the 28th December,” says Dugmore.
Western Cape Premier, Ebrahim Rasool together with the MEC will announce the results at Lewenhof, the premier’s residence.
Dugmore added that they are looking forward to the results. He urges the matrics to be patient during the waiting process and to enjoy a restful break.
