A 15 year old boy from Bonteheuwel has been arrested early this morning for stabbing another 15 year old Woodstock boy in the chest.
The arrest follows after the suspect was admitted to a hospital for a stab wound he sustained to his back during the attack.
“The deceased and his friends were standing in Wale Street, when a group of boys approached them. It is alleged that one of the males in the approaching group took out a knife and stabbed the deceased,” says Police spokesperson Bernadine Steyn.
The motive for the killing is being investigated and the suspect is currently under police guard.
