Two suspects have been arrested in the case of the 32 year old body of a woman which was found in a bedroom in Mowbray last month.
The suspects a 28 year old male and 23 year old female were arrested in a house in Gugulethu yesterday afternoon on a charge of murder.
Police spokesperson Bernadine Steyn said that the deceased lady whose body was found on the 30th of November 2007 body was found on the floor in a Mowbray home, hands and feet were tide with a rope, and the body had been decomposed.
“The autopsy was conducted and the preliminary report suggests that the deceased might have been strangled,” says Steyn.
On the discovery of the woman’s body last month, her red VW Jetta was missing and house seemed ransacked said Steyn.
“The suspects are expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s court tomorrow.
