Missing Parow girl found

Carla Matthee from Parow Valley who went missing on 5 February 2008 was found unharmed on Monday.

The 10 year-old disappeared while on her way from school.

According to Superintendent Van Zyl from the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offences Unit, Carla was not injured and is on her way back to Cape Town.

Police are urgently requesting the assistance of the public to find 10 year-old, Carla Matthee from Parow Valley in the Western Cape.

It is believed that Carla went missing whilst on her way to school on 5 February 2008 (Tuesday). A case of abduction has been opened.

Carla has brown hair and blue grey eyes. There is a possibility that she may be in the Vereeniging area in Gauteng.
