Police have requested the public’s assistance in finding a young woman who went missing from her home in Manenberg.

Jeronique Petersen (22) was last seen when she left her family home last week on February 8, at 5pm. She was reported missing after failing to return home.

“We have reason to believe that she is in the Cape Town CBD as she was spotted there with friends,” says police spokesperson André Traut.

“She was last seen dressed in a orange t-shirt, blue jeans and orange head scarf,” says Traut.

Jeronique has the word 'bal' tattooed on her left upper arm and the name 'Miska' on her left ankle.

If you know the whereabouts of Jeronique you can contact the Manenberg Police Station on (021) 6999400 or Crime Stop on 08600 10 111.
