The 60-year-old man from Wellington who went missing after he was discharged from the Paarl Hospital has been found. Police spokesperson André Traut says Dawid Fortuin was discharged after being treated for asthma and failed to return home.

It is believed Fortuin was discharged from the hospital but collapsed before he could make it out the door. Traut says Fortuin was not admitted to the hospital after collapsing which resulted in there being no record of him.

Paarl Hospital's Senior Medical Superintendent, Dr. Breslau Kruger says he is not sure about what happened during the incident therefore he is unable to comment.
