The Minister says the campaign will take the form of mobile units which will visit schools cross the country to provide assistance with applications and registration.
Premier Rasool says the mobile units will be going to high schools in order to bring the important service closer to them.
“The Western Cape government urges the youth of our province to use this mobile service to apply for their ID’s because these documents are a crucial requirement for all adults, especially those young people who are stepping out to make their mark in the world,” said Rasool.
The launch takes place Friday, 07 March 2008 at 12h30 pm.
