The City of Cape Town is warning motorists to drive safely while travelling on hospital bend at night, as contractors will be working on the road.
The city’s Director of Roads and Stormwater, Henry du Plessis says that barriers would be placed on the road, narrowing it.
“The barriers will be placed in a position from 8pm to five thirty in the morning and traffic flow will be slowed, but the long term benefits if this contract will justify the temporary inconvenience,” says du Plessis.
The City urges all drivers to drive slow and be extra cautious in this area to prohibit any accidents.
