Almost 2000 kg dagga found

A 25 year old man has been arrested for dealing in 1 920 kg of dagga at a house in Zone 24, Langa.

According to police SAPS members gathered information in the community after which an operation was conducted at the house.

“During the search 65 bags of dagga was found in the house with an estimated street value of about R200 000, “ says Makupula.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Goodwood Magistrate's Court on June 4 on a charge of dealing in dagga.
