The UDM Youth Vanguard has on Monday strongly condemned the Youth Commission and Umsobomvu about the recent announcement on the high rate of University dropouts and the involvement of the youth in criminal activities.
“We call upon the President to disband these commissions, as they are the extension of the ANC’s dynasty in all Government institutions,” says Valli Yayi UDM Youth Vanguard spokesperson.
Attempts to get comment from Vincent Domingo Chairperson of the Youth Commission have failed.
According to Vuli the UDM Youth demand that a Youth Ministry that will exclusively dedicate its energies in developing the Youth of South Africa be created so that the monies that are wasted by Umsobomvu and Youth Commissions are collectively used to help young people to play a part in all aspects of development.
“We also need to guard against political patronage in the formation of the ministry so that competent people can be appointed to deliver on their mandate that will be to elevate the status of our youth and re- focusing their energies in building our country,” he added.
