Three suspects arrested in Bellville South

Three suspects were arrested in the early of this morning when member of the police were on patrol came across, a grey Maercedes Benz.

The occupants in the vehicle looked very suspicious and police pulled them off the road.

After the police did some contacts, it was revealed that the vehicle belonged to a 79 year old man who was stabbed to death.

Police spokesperson Elliot Sinyangana the three are going to appear in the Tulbagh Magistrate’s Court

“Three occupants did not reply after they were asked by the police and also could not produce papers after they were asked to produce them” said Sinyangana

“It was revealed that it belonged to a Tulbagh man who was found fatally wounded in his bathroom at his house”

“The three have been arrested for murder, possession of stolen vehicles and theft”
