Cape Town’s displace people by have rainfall have all been taken to safe areas. People in areas like Nyanga, Khayelitsha, and Phola Park in Klipfontein and Mandela Park in Hout Bay have all been moved to safe facilities.
This comes after people lost their RDP homes due to heavy rain over the weekend, where the rain left many with no shelter but only destruction.
Disaster management spokesperson Wilfred Solomon said that"disaster response teams are still busy with the mopping up operation and we anticipate that the operations will be completed today."
