Last week Saturday police were call out to find two teenage boys stoned to death. It has been reported that the boys 17 and 18-years old could have possibly been stoned to death by an angry mob of drinkers, due to an argument that started because the two tried forcing their way into a Khayelitsha shebeen.
Superintended Andre Traut says “last week Saturday two men aged 17 and 18 were killed at a shebeen when they tried to enter. We believe it is an isolated matter and we have no record to indicate that it is a new trend on the townships.”
