Cosatu backs Social Justice Coalitions rally

COSATU, Cape Town who has thrown its weight behind calls for an independent probe into arms deal corruption.

The trade union's Tony Ehrenreich who will be speaking at tomorrows anti arms deal rally in Cape Town, hosted by the Social Justice Coalition, says “Cosatu supports the Social Justice Coalition in a number of initiatives they are engaging in. We believe especially to the questions linked to the arms deal that improve safety and security is one that affects our society materially.”

Ehrenreich also says “we will as Cosatu be supporting the event and pledging our support to an enquiry into the arms deal so that we can get to the bottom of what has happened with arms once and for all.”
