The body of missing fisherman Neels du Plooy has been located and recovered by Police. Neels Du Plooy went missing on the 31st of December 2008 in Strand.
NSRI’s Craig Lambinon says the body of Neels du Plooy was discovered by Strand Surf lifeguards on the beach at Somstroom in the AECI protected area between Strand and Macassar at approximately 11h30 yesterday.
“The family has been informed and the body has been positively identified”
