The Oaks of Righteousness Foundation has opened a youth centre for children between the ages of 10 and 18 in Bayview Strandfontein. The centre is opened 5 days a week and offers activities such as dance classes, drama workshops, soccer and homework assistance. For more information call Laura on (021) 393 6924.

Education for Africa community learning centre is running a programme for learners aged 15 and older, this includes adult learners, who would like to complete the Grade 9, 10,11 or their senior certificate. The Parent Centre, an NGO in Wynberg hosts a Moms and Babies Support group on Thursdays from 10am till noon at the Kingsbury Hospital maternity section. Entry is R30 and includes refreshments. For more information call 021 762 0116.



The Kensington based Saxon Rovers will host a pre-season 7-a side tournament for over-35 and over-40 players at Saxon Rovers sports ground in Maitland on Thursday 26 February at 7pm. If you are interested, you may give Wayne Morris a call on 072 376 4534
