Two teenagers had to be treated for near drowning in the Langebaan Lagoon on the West Coast .
Darius Van Niekerk from the NSRI says a 17-year-old youth and a 15-year-old girl had to receive treatment at Langebaan after they got into trouble while swimming in the lagoon.
Niekerk says when they arrived on the scene the two teenagers were on a “satisfactory condition’”
“But we had to take them to hospital just make sure for secondary drowning symptoms to ensure they are in good health.
