40-year-old arrested for Mandrax dealing

Police in Gugulethu arrested a 40-year-old woman this morning after following information about drug dealing.

Police visit the address given to them and searched the premises Police then discovered a bag containing more than 8-hundred Mandrax tablets.

Police Captain Elliot Sinyangana says she appeared in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court today and faces a charge of dealing in Mandrax


“She was informed of her rights and then placed under arrest. The tablets were counted in her presence and the whole bag was sealed.”
