Following the arrest of the 27-year-old man that was taken in for questioning yesterday, about the murder of the Kenilworth resident,
SAPS spokesperson Inspector Ezra October said police found a 30cm knife, with a 15cm blade "full of fresh blood", and a footprint similar to the one found at the scene of the attack.
“The accused will be charged tomorrow for the murder of the deceased who was between the ages of 50 and 60-years-old and who resided in the Kenilworth area,” said October
According to police the deceased’s body was identified by a family member yesterday evening.
“The accused will be appearing in court on Friday and police will appose bail and ask for the case to be postponed so in order to further investigate the case,” said October
