A bus carrying school children was involved in a traffic collision at the corners of Lois and Bleinheim Roads with a Toyota Conquest yesterday evening.
According to a statement issued by ER24, one child died as a result of the collision.
"One child was dead on the scene and another eight people were injured as a result of the collision. Of the eight injured, two were adults and the remaining patients were children estimated to be between the ages of eight and sixteen years old," it said.
It was unclear what the exact cause of the accident was, but police were on the scene and will be investigating the accident.
