Two people were left seriously injured and another two people in a moderate condition after an accident on the N1, just before the Okavango Road turn off in the direction of Paarl yesterday.
Although the exact cause of the accident is unknown, it is alleged that a Uno traveling on the N1 towards Durbanville rolled across the middle island and hit an oncoming Toyota Tazz.
“The four occupants of the Uno, of which two were in a serious but stable condition, and the other two sustained minor injuries. The two occupants of the Tazz were both in a moderate condition, said ER24’s Tristan Wadeley
The patients were taken to various surrounding hospitals for further treatment. SAPS, ER24, Metro EMS and Baycare were all in attendance.
