Paarl Print death toll rises to 13

According to reports the death toll of last month's Paarl Print fire has risen to 13.A 44-year-old who worked at the firm's canteen, died in hospital yesterday, said Paarl Print chief executive officer Stephan van der Walt.

Van der Walt said the company was in touch with all the families of the deceased and helping them where it could.

All of them were receiving counseling.

Thirteen workers were hospitalised after the fire, some of them with second-degree burns.

The fire was the second this year at plants owned by Naspers.
