Paramedics responded to a call last night where a pedestrian was allegedly hit by a car and then carried about one kilometer on the bonnet of the car before falling off.
“The car then drove through a pole before coming to a stop when it hit a pavement. The Mazda was allegedly travelling on Vasco Boulavard towards Voortrekker road when the incident occurred,” said ER24’s Tristan Wadeley
The pedestrian sustained only minor injuries and refused to go to hospital by ambulance, two occupants from the vehicle were allegedly detained by the SAPS on scene.
