A traffic officer was allegedly shot and killed on Bottelary Road, between Kruis Road and Botfontein Road in Kraaifontein this afternoon.
“The thirty seven year old male officer was dead on arrival of ER24 paramedics and appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to the head,” said ER24’s Tristan Wadeley
The details of the shooting were not known by the medical personnel on scene.
The SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating the incident.
