Max set to boost Western Cape’s fight against child crimes

Community Safety MEC Lennit Max is set to boost the Western Cape’s fight against child crimes following the rape and murder of a 7-year-old girl.

MEC Lennit Max said that after speaking to the community of Delft they have committed to themselves to embark on programmes within the particular community in order to promote awareness of child safety.

“On the government’s side, the Department of Community Safety is going to assist financially ten community based organisations who actually specialise in child safety,” said Max
