Police looking for Groot Constantia robbers

Police are looking for five men in connection with the armed robbery that occurred at Simon’s restaurant in Groot Constantia farm over the weekend.

Diep Rivier Police spokesman Inspector Keith Chandler says that the restaurant’s manager is in a stable condition at Vincent Palloti Hospital.

Chandler says the suspects were tracked by the Dog Unit, but the dog lost the stint in the river.

Chandler said five armed black males, three of which had firearms and one was armed with a blunt object and the other one was armed with a knife.

“The suspects assaulted the manager over the head with the blunt object, then the other one stab the him in the neck with the knife and then he was shot in the stomach with a nine millimetre pistol”
They then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

IT is disgusting!!!! For what, a few thousand rand. What is South Africa coming to, who gives them the right to do that to another person. Go out and work for your money like the rest of us, stop taking what you want!!!!
