Speaking at the World Economic Forum on Africa president Jacob Zuma called on South Africa to pull together in overcoming the effects of the global economic crisis.

Zuma made the comment at the final session of the World Economic Forum on Africa.
The session focused on the key outcomes of the three-day gathering and the map forward for Africa in the new economy.

Zuma said an abnormal situation like the economic crisis required everyone, from government to business and civil society to act with understanding.

“What will be the duties and responsibilities of the government to deal with the issue. I think there should be a clear commitment, what will be those of the private sector and what will be those of the Unions.”

The challenge is can you whilst you have the economic crisis and find an opportunity to find have more strides, said Zuma.
