A 21 year old woman has died after the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed it into a lamp post at the corners of Summerley and Main Road in Kenilworth, early this morning.
“At four-o-clock this morning, we received the message that a car had lost control and hit a lamp post, overturned, and left the driver dead,” said Merle Lourens from Cape Town Traffic Services.
The 21 year old was killed on impact and the passenger sustained serious injuries.
